Paul Beashel is the Founder of Excellence First Enterprise Consultancy (EFEC) and its Co-Director and serves as Curriculum Director of CognateUK. With over 40 years of experience in education leadership across the UK and China, including service as a UK headteacher, Paul brings rare depth to the design of high-quality, structured learning. He has contributed to the UK national curriculum and is the author of widely used GCSE and A-level textbooks and teaching resources.
At CognateUK, Paul leads curriculum development, combining academic rigour with the realities of cross-cultural and blended learning contexts. His focus is on creating progression frameworks that are substantial enough to develop genuine capability, and flexible enough to serve learners across very different educational starting points.
