Dr Martin Reynolds is an economist by training and has had an extensive career in UK higher education leadership, including service as Dean and Pro-Vice-Chancellor at leading UK business schools. Across more than four decades, he has developed deep expertise in institutional governance, academic quality assurance, and work-based learning design, aligned with UK academic and professional standards.
As Chair of CognateUK's Advisory Board, Martin provides independent oversight of the programme's academic and governance architecture. He chaired the FutureReady Critical Review at Innovate Cambridge in February 2026, a structured, independent stress-test of the programme's design, pedagogy, and safeguarding standards.
